Description
The First-Generation Bridge class is for incoming students starting at Colby-Sawyer College in September 2026. The program is designed to better prepare incoming first-generation students for an engaging and successful college experience. Students in this program will arrive on campus a few days early for a pre-Orientation to begin exploring college expectations, developing essential student success skills, launching vocational exploration, and learning how to fully utilize the expertise and support of faculty, staff, and student leaders.
During this early transition period and throughout the fall semester, students will participate in activities that foster connections among first-generation students, build relationships with upper-class peer leaders, and strengthen their sense of belonging within the Colby-Sawyer community.
