Description
Orientation is the perfect way to kick off your Colby-Sawyer experience! Meet other new Chargers, connect with faculty and staff, and learn about the academic resources, student services and campus activities that will support you throughout your time here.
All new students should plan to attend a required Orientation session and can choose from either of the following dates: Friday, June 26, 2026, or Friday, July 10, 2026.
Parents and family are encouraged to attend! There will be a separate track of sessions for guests. All attendees will also enjoy a delicious lunch catered by Colby-Sawyer's Dining Services.

Questions & Answers
- Is New Student Orientation required to attend?
Yes, all new incoming students who have enrolled at Colby-Sawyer should plan to attend one of our two orientation dates this summer.
- Should parents and family members attend?
Yes! Parents and families are welcome to attend and we'll have programming specially designed for them.
- Will I be able to register for my fall classes during this day?
Yes! Every student will be picking their classes for the fall and going home with their official schedule.
- Will lunch be provided?
Yes! Plan for a delicious lunch on our campus quad!
- Do I need to bring anything with me?
No! You do not need to bring any documents or materials with you. You should log into your Colby-Sawyer email account first to ensure you see any important messages. If you need help accessing your Colby-Sawyer username and password, please email our IT helpdesk at helpdesk@colby-sawyer.edu.
